Medical Facility Cleaning
We are seeking dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented individuals to join our janitorial team servicing a medical facility. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and professional environment while helping ensure the safety and comfort of patients, visitors, and healthcare personnel.
Job Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms, offices, waiting areas, and common areas.
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces, including door handles, countertops, and light switches.
- Clean and maintain restrooms, breakrooms, and other designated areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain all assigned flooring.
- Properly collect, remove, and dispose of waste according to facility guidelines.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and daily checklists.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and properly.
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy.
- Report maintenance concerns, supply shortages, and safety hazards.
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
- Medical facility or healthcare cleaning experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical cleaning duties.
- Must follow all facility policies, safety procedures, and infection control requirements.
